If you’re a podcast fan, I’m sure you’ve been in a situation before where you’ve listened to something funny, moving or inspirational and wanted to share that moment with your friend. But when you do share it with a friend, it rarely gets listened to. Why?

Because sharing something featured in an episode is clunky and antiquated. The only way to do it is to share an entire episode with the timestamp at which it starts, resulting in the recipient having to scrub along the waveform to find the right spot. In this day and age, that is just too much of an effort.

Unfortunately, this means that amazing moments in audio are missed, and opportunities to discover new podcasts prevented.

That’s why we have launched Snippets. A way for you to easily share your favourite podcast clips with your friends. Simply tap the snippets icon, select the clip from where it ended and hit share.

Let us know how you get on with creating them, and in the meantime, you can enjoy our favourite Snippets below:

Adam Buxton & Louis Theroux singing ‘yes sir, I can Boogie.’

Elis James & John Robbins play one of their best ever made up games

Alan Carr on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners Podcast about farm life

The Problem with Whatsapp Groups from ‘That Peter Crouch’ Podcast

And this sad story from BBC’s Soul Music…

So there you have it, a little snippet selection from the team at Entale. Do share your favourites and tag us in them — @entalehq
