EnterDAO Community Update #1 (Yield Farming and DAO Staking is live)

Busy week at the EnterDAO HQ! You can find our first community update call on Youtube, incl. an overview of EntreDAO, team intros and product info. Community Update calls will happen every 2 weeks and will be recorded, while the community can ask questions on our Discord to be answered over the calls. Live AMAs will also happen going forward.

This article will be a brief write-up summarizing the call, while from next week we’ll start our official weekly newsletter and future community calls will be summarized there.

Here’s what we talked about yesterday:

• Yield Farming and DAO Staking are live at https://dao.enterdao.xyz/yield-farming.
• YF already has > $30M in TVL over the first 48 hours since launch. It’s a direct fork of the audited and battle tested BarnBridge and Universe YF contracts, which have collectively held over a $1B in TVL.
• DAO Staking is also live. However, the community will be able to earn rewards from next week once ENTR is live on Sushi and week 1 of farming has ended.
• There are some tokens staked in the DAO already which are the core team’s and early contributors. As the team has no intentions of frontrunning the community on week 1 DAO Staking rewards, those rewards (or at least the core team’s portion of those) will be distributed to the EnterDAO early community in various giveaways / drops (TBD).
• Next up on the timeline is the MetaPass NFT drop (already onboarded a 🔥 artist) and Landworks.

In the meantime, there are active community contests and games in our Discord such as a meme contest, sticker pack contest etc.
