The Metaverse Times #15
Welcome back to this week’s issue of ‘The Metaverse Times’, a newsletter where we cover all of the latest news and updates surrounding the EnterDAO project, as well as other various bits and pieces going on within the general metaverse ecosystem.
Sharded Minds Update
As we mentioned last week, we had initially planned to drop our NFT just before Christmas, however as you all know, there were quite a number of people who approached us and asked if we could potentially delay the NFT due to holiday conflicts and travelling etc. We also needed to fine tune some of the tech on our side, so we made the decision to delay the NFT until early January. The team has reassured that the drop will happen sometime next week, so stay tuned for any further announcements in the coming days.
LandWorks Bounty
During our latest community call, that is due to be uploaded within the next couple of days, we have confirmed that there will definitely be a bug bounty focusing on LandWorks, as we want to make sure that the contracts maintain as secure and decentralised as possible, and we would like to get the community involved with that as much as possible. The team has not yet finalised all the details regarding the bounty, however we can confirm that the bounty will be available with the initial launch of LandWorks. We will be posting more about the bounty in the near future, so make sure that you are inside our Discord server as that is where we post our project alpha.
DAO Forum Coming Soon
Another point covered in our latest community call was surrounding the recent activation of the DAO. Since we have hit the activation threshold, we now would like to get the community involved with the governance of the project in as many ways as possible. The best first step to take in this initiative is to launch a new forum for DAO discussions. We have already received one or two governance proposals so far, so we are creating a space where we can host discussions purely around the governance of the DAO. Once we have the forum set up and finalised, we will let you all know through our official Twitter page as well as our Discord server.
Metaverse Bits
BAYC Floor Frenzy
As the NFT space begins to heat up, we have seen a huge increase in popularity of the popular NFT collection. If you are a BAYC owner or follower, you would have already seen the huge surge in floor prices as they have risen by a whopping 40% over the last few weeks. Over the last couple of weeks, the popular Bored Ape collection even managed to momentarily flip Crypto Punk collection on Opensea.
Treeverse Update 2022
Treeverse is an up-and-coming sci-fi MMORPG that will harness the power of NFT’s and put them to use in web3. The game itself aims to essentially become the ‘Runescape’ of web3 and the wider blockchain gaming community. The team at Treeverse have just started a monthly update newsletter that will feature all the latest news regarding the highly anticipated game. Illuvium Update
The hugely popular blockchain game known as Illuvium has just recently posted its end of year newsletter. The newsletter covers Governance news as well as the latest developments including all the most recent business partnership. Illuvium is one of the most highly anticipated blockchain based games, and it is set to deploy some time in 2022. The project will also be harnessing the power of Ethereum Layer 2 technology by deploying directly onto the Immutable X network at launch.
