Welcome back to this week’s issue of The Metaverse Times, a newsletter where we cover all the latest news and updates surrounding the EnterDAO project, as well as other various bits and pieces going on within the general metaverse ecosystem.
EnterDAO Community Call
This week we hosted our latest biweekly community call, and as always we updated our community with all the latest developments surrounding our core products, LandWorks and MetaPortal. This week we also decided to drop some ALPHA surrounding our Sharded Minds NFT collection. For those who missed out on this week’s live AMA, we recorded the entire call and posted it within our Discord server, so there’s no need to worry if you were unable to attend this week.
WeMeta Twitter Spaces
This week we were lucky enough to jump into a Twitter Spaces with our friends from WeMeta! During this live discussion we were able to help break down what the metaverse is, where it’s heading, and of course, how to actually use and determine the value of metaverse land from different virtual worlds. Layer3 Competition Is Now Closed
We are pleased to announce that the deadline for our latest Layer 3 community campaign has now closed. Over the next few days, all of the submissions will be individually assessed, and a winner will be crowned. We will of course be announcing the winner on both Twitter and from within our community Discord server. If you participated in the competition, be sure to follow along for any further announcements.
Metaverse Bits
Nifty Islands Metaverse Interoperability
Nifty Island is once again aiming to help further the collective effort of further advancing the metaverse as we know it today. One of the main questions currently being asked from within this space is, ‘When will there be interoperability between metaverses’. Nifty Island are attempting to answer this question over the next few years, but for now, they will be integrating various NFTs from popular blue chip collections, and making them playable as avatars from within the game. If you have not done so already, we highly recommend checking out the game.
The Sandbox Land Sale
Popular Web3 virtual world The Sandbox are currently holding a massive land sale, and auctioning off 10 estates and 38 1X1 LANDS. Currently the top bids are sitting at around 1500 $SAND, so if you are looking at participating in this auction, you better get in quick! Pangea today announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership with MetaCat, in an effort to help drive further value to their community by providing helpful metrics towards various metaverse land collections.
