Introducing ‘Shards’ — Fractionalising Digital Land

We are pleased to announce that we are now close enough to the finish line regarding our fractionalisation protocol, that we are able to finally drop our Sharded Minds community some well deserved ALPHA! For now, this initiative is known as ‘Shards’, and we aim to use this initiative to empower our Sharded Minds community by leveraging metaverse land. How this works is that users will be able to deposit land into LandWorks which we can then fractionalise, making it possible for us to distribute rent from the deposited land directly to our loyal Sharded Minds community. This initiative is still in its early stages, however we will definitely be providing more information as it becomes available.

Voxels Now Live On LandWorks

Our biggest metaverse integration to date has now officially been deployed! That’s right folks, using the LandWorks protocol, users will now be able to either lend or rent digital land from the Voxels metaverse. This is a huge step for LandWorks, and one that is sure to draw a lot of attention from the wider community. As always, LandWorks is an ongoing initiative that will eventually offer all or most digital land available on the protocol. Stay tuned for further announcements.

Gods Unchained Now Available In The MetaPortal

The biggest news coming out of the MetaPortal this week is of course the integration between the MetaPortal, and the popular trading card game ‘Gods Unchained’. For those who don’t know, Gods Unchained is a popular P2E TCG that is powered by Immutable X. This means that users can now enter the game via the portal, and also harness the power of zero gas transaction fees thanks to Immutable’s Layer 2 scaling technology.

EnterDAO Attending NFT Berlin

EnterDAO co-founder George Spasov will be both attending and speaking at NFT Berlin later this month, and he will be presenting the NFT community with a detailed technical overview of the recently drafted EIP-4400. EIP-4400 is an Ethereum improvement proposal that will essentially make it possible to rent/lend any NFT. If you are planning on attending NFT Berlin, be sure to keep an eye out for George’s presentation, you don’t want to miss this one!

Illuvium Land Sale

Illuvium have announced their official land sale! The sale itself will be held in Dutch auction style on L1, in which minting will then be carried out on Immutable at Layer 2, saving users significant gas costs. The sale will take place on June 2nd, and will feature a mass auction of a total of 20,000 land plots that have been made available. Introducing Scene Builders

We are pleased to announce that we have launched a new feature for the LandWorks protocol known as ‘Scene Builders’. Scene Builders is an initiative that aims to further empower the creator, and more distinctly, people who either do not have access to the tools, or do not have the immediate skill set to develop metaverse land for themselves. Users will now be able to use this feature to connect with skilled or professional metaverse builders who will be able to help you build out your desired vision in either DCL or Voxels.
