Cross-chain NFT Staking is Live!

--

The next stage of Enterprise DAO cross-chain functionality is here—cross-chain NFT staking is now available for select NFT collections on Stargaze and Juno!

Following the release of cross-chain token staking, NFT collections on Stargaze and Juno can now take advantage of the DAO tooling that Terra projects like pixeLions, Skeleton Punks, AllianceDAO, Galactic Punks, and Galactic Mining Club use to grow and manage their communities.

Powered by Ark Protocol, Stargaze and Juno NFT DAOs will enjoy the same 1-click staking experience as existing DAOs, plus seamless voting, treasury management, and rewards distribution.

Read on to learn about the new features available in Enterprise DAO, plus future updates.

New Features

Enterprise DAO is designed to simplify DAO management, which means every feature is designed to make it easier for more users, on more chains, to create and interact with Enterprise DAOs.

This update lets cross-chain NFT DAOs join in on the fun 🥳

NFT Staking for Stargaze and Juno

Enterprise DAO builds on the work of Ark Protocol, key contributors to the CW-ICS721 and the CW-NFTs standards, which allow NFTs to be interoperable between IBC compatible blockchains.

This enables NFTs from supported blockchains — currently, Stargaze and Juno, as well as Terra — to be use as governance tokens on Enterprise DAO just like any fungible Cosmos token.

Select collections are supported to begin with, which can be found on the Ark Compass. More collections and chains will be added over time.

Here’s how NFT staking works for supported collections, and for DAO members:

Creating a DAO

When creating an NFT DAO, the DAO creator has the option to use an existing NFT collection for their Enterprise DAO’s governance.

After selecting “Yes, find my NFT,” a dropdown will appear, and the creator can fill in the CW721 address. To find this:

  1. Go to Ark Compass.
  2. Select the source chain for your collection in the top right (such as Stargaze).
  3. Click on Transferred Collections, and find your collection (for example, Kujira Hero).
  4. If your collection is supported, copy the contract address and paste it into the DAO creation page.

You can also get the contract address directly, such as from its collection page on Stargaze. Be sure to check Ark Compass first to see if your collection is supported.

That’s it! See the Enterprise Docs for the remaining steps to create an NFT DAO.

Staking to a DAO

For DAO members, it’s even easier. All you need to do is go to the Staking tab on your DAO’s Enterprise page, click the Stake button, select the NFTs of the appropriate collection you want to stake, and click Stake. One approved transaction later, and you’re in the DAO.

View Your Staked NFTs

Users have been asking for an easier way to view their staked NFTs, and the first enhancement is here. DAO members can now view their staked NFTs on the Staking page of their NFT DAOs.

See Floor Prices on NFTs

The floor price has been added to all staked NFTs, both user staked and NFTs held in DAO treasuries.

Send NFTs by Proposal

Several upgrades have been made to the proposal process, including the ability to send NFTs. Just choose the Send Treasury Assets proposal and select the NFTs you’d like to send.

Note: this is only available for Terra NFTs for now.

Send Multiple Assets in One Proposal

In addition to sending NFTs, multiple assets can now be sent in a single proposal. Select the Send Treasury Assets proposal and then pick all the assets you wish to send.

Future Updates

The Enterprise team has more updates planned, some which are coming quite soon 🤫 These include:

  • Distribute DAO Assets to Stakers by Proposal: Soon, distributing funds from a DAO’s treasury to stakers will be as easy as creating and voting on a proposal.
  • IBC Sends Added to Send Assets Proposal: DAOs will be able to incorporate IBC sends directly into a proposal, making it easy to send assets across chains.
  • Token Locking and Vesting: Features will be added to support protocols with investor or team token vesting schedules.
  • Governance Rewards: Ways to to reward DAO members who are active in governance.

Enterprise is dedicated to simplifying DAO management, and 1-click NFT staking is a key step on this path. The team wants to hear from you on what the next step should be — what other features do you want to see in Enterprise DAO? Visit feedback.enterprise.money to submit your suggestions.
