Cross-chain Token Staking, Now Live on Enterprise

Enterprise DAO is continuing its cross-chain expansion by enabling cross-chain token staking. Token DAOs can now use tokens from across Cosmos to govern their DAOs, and DAO members will enjoy seamless UX when staking.

This unlocks the ability for token-based DAOs across Cosmos to leverage the staking, voting, and treasury management functionality that Enterprise offers. Combined with cross-chain treasuries on Osmosis, Neutron, Migaloo, Stargaze, Juno, and Terra, Enterprise DAO is a powerful platform for DAOs.

New Features

In this version of Enterprise DAO, the new features all share the same goals: make it easier to create and interact with Enterprise DAOs on multiple chains.

Token Staking on All Supported Chains

Here’s how token staking works for non-Terra tokens, and for DAO members:

Creating a DAO

When creating a Token DAO, the DAO creator has the option to use an existing token for their Enterprise DAO’s governance token. Any Token Factory or CW20 tokens listed in the Station Wallet asset repo can be used as governance tokens.

After selecting “Yes, find my token,” a dropdown will appear, and the creator can search for their desired token by token name, token symbol, IBC denom, or CW20 address.

If you’re a non-Terra DAO and you don’t yet have a token, please create one before creating your DAO, as Enterprise does not yet support the creation of non-Terra tokens.

Staking to a DAO

For DAO members, it’s even easier. All you need to do is go to the Staking tab on your DAO’s Enterprise page, click the Stake button, enter the amount you want to stake, and click Stake. One approved transaction later, and your tokens are staked.

Gas Top-up

Following in Station’s footsteps, Enterprise DAO has added a gas top-up feature. Not having the correct gas fee token can be frustrating, especially when interacting across multiple chains.

If this happens, Enterprise DAO will prompt you to swap an asset in your wallet for the necessary fee token. Just select an asset, choose how much, and Enterprise DAO takes care of the rest.

Improved Unstaking and Claiming

Several quality-of-life improvements have been made to the unstaking and claim processes.

The “Claimable tokens” section has been revamped to show your unstaking tokens right on the DAO’s Staking page.

After a user chooses to unstake their tokens (by clicking the Unstake button), clicking on “View release dates” will bring up a window that counts down until your unstaking tokens are ready to be claimed.

Improvements have also been made to the claiming process, both for unstaked tokens and rewards. Users can now choose which chain to withdraw their tokens to.

On the Horizon — NFT Staking

Ship season is in full swing, with more releases on the way. Big additions are planned for NFT DAOs and multisigs, plus new features that all DAOs will appreciate:

• NFT Staking on All Chains: Enable NFT staking and the distribution of token rewards to staked NFTs on any Enterprise-supported chain. This will open the door for NFT DAOs on all supported chains.
• Pulsar Finance Integration: Pulsar Portfolio functionality will be added right into Enterprise, as well as performance and reliability improvements leveraging Pulsar Data.
• Token Locking and Vesting: Features will be added to support protocols with investor or team token vesting schedules.
• Governance Rewards: Ways to to reward DAO members who are active in governance.
