Competition is thickening every new day in the businesscape. In the midst of these competitions, the acquisition of survival skills is a critical need by all players in the game. You would agree that your industry is being redefined by the power of technology, a highly informed customer base and the rage of speed. As a player who still wants to be relevant, you are left with no other options but to innovate, change or adapt.

As simple as this may seem, the process to achieving this isn’t. There are lots of things- actions, reactions and relations that must be dropped. Familiar practices, procedures, processes, and of course, people will be dropped too. The idea isn’t just to upset the existing structure, but to make it a lot more competitive using the best pool of people and tools.

Look at some ways we could briefly ensure we achieve the above:

1. Learning how to Rethink your processes- (Antidote to poor business process design & outputs. This could lead to shifts from traditional model to more contemporary models of delivery ).

2. Learning how to Learn new realities in fast-changing industries- (Antidote to abrupt changes in industries. This learning reveals how you can build competitive edge through gathering insights from both old and new realities).

3. Learning how to create superior products (Antidote to overarching competition ).

4. Learning how to get & keep skilled work teams- (Antidote to superior performances.)

5. Learning how to manage changing behaviours of consumers- (Antidote to the fast-changing consumer preferences powered by increase in the consumers’ awareness).

Although there are many more things that could be done to match competition, swift changes and increasing customer awareness, the above isn’t a bad point to start off from if you must remain relevant.
