“Its not about Gen X/Gen Y. Its really about how work’s changed”

Slack. Lyft. Atlassian. CultureAmp is a People Analytics warp drive powering these rocketships and many more. Some folks call People Analytics moneyball for human resources, we think of it as the secret sauce to scale both rapid and steady growth, during downturns or good times.

Thus my co-host Mike Bestvina and I were thrilled to interview Didier Elzinga, Culture Amp Founder & CEO in their well located SF headquarters (one building away from Vietnamese iced coffee!). If Didier didn’t exist, you’d have to invent him. He’s worked with academy award winning Rising Sun (Harry Potter, LOTR), Atlassian, Tourism Australia, and Slingsby theater to boot.

Didier is a passionate leader whose references range from Henry Ford quotes to Studio Ghibli culture to user experience. We felt inspired by CultureAmp’s goal of making culture analytics accessible to all and bringing change in old-school companies. Culture-first companies innovate more, even in a downturn, and their foundation of trust and empathy makes it all work.

We’d love to hear your views about this podcast and people analytics.
