Crystal Knows, Aha!, Reflektive

Crystal Knows (crystalknows.com)

What is it? Communicate with more empathy and precision based on personality. It analyzes a person’s online footprint to map their personality and makes specific recommendations on how to email or communicate.

Who uses it? Startups like Fresh Tilled Soil and Moat. Sales. Amit loves it too.
Why is it better? Crystal’s algorithms seem fairly accurate and it helps you decide specific things like whether your receiver would prefer an email with 3 bullets or with more emotion and emoticons (^-^). Test drive it here

Aha! (aha.io) — here’s a 30 day free trial

What is it? Visual roadmapping software for Product Managers. A nimble and lightweight approach to technology, product and business roadmaps.
Who uses it? Concur, OKCupit, and Wiley and loads of startups
Why is it better? Cards based UI, lots of drag & drop, easy to crowdsource ideas from different constituencies. Roadmaps often get locked & hoarded in Powerpoint slides, Aha seems like a great way to communicate transparently.

Reflektive (reflektive.com)

What is it? Performance management and reviews in a 24/7 world.
Who uses it? Instacart, Disney, Lyft, even Glassdoor
Why is it better? Great User Experience (the team’s got a lot of gamer and interactive media mojo). Cool integrations within Slack, Chrome, email systems, to make it super easy to give feedback in a few steps.
