Design Scenarios

The motivation for this overview was an ask from our product management team to explain the specific benefits of this interaction design technique. I decided to provide the teams with a short “How to” followed by a few tangible examples. I used publicly available Cooper resources and enhanced them with real-world examples based on lived experience.

The core concepts that are driving the product development are Agile and Scrum. But these frameworks are not helping us to define what to develop, how it matches the user goals. Scenarios are filling the gap, and it’s a useful design tool to capture what the product will do before we start working on a technical solution.
