Your Non-Fiction Edition
Hello, my writing warriors. It’s here just like I promised. A whole new round of writing prompts…with a twist. This entire post is about the art of non-fiction. Now, that being said, you can use these prompts for fiction or poetry or to write a song or whatever else tickles your tootsies.
Here’s a rundown of what you’ll get on the first Monday of each month.
Top Ten
I’ll come up with some off-the-wall ideas and have you create a listicle about them.
The Best and Worst
Much like the top ten, but I either want to see your best or worst of the topic.
A Figure of Speech
Write a speech about random occasions such as finding your keys or managing to get your book published.
Dear Diary
Ideas on journal entries.
Sales Pitch
I’ll post some random product idea and you write the sales pitch that will make everyone want to buy it.
Just An Opinion
Give your opinion on a variety of topics and why you feel as you do.
Historical Figures
I’ll simply post the name of someone from history (modern and/or ancient) and you find one fact about that person and write a report about it.
Technology
Create how-tos and hack prompts to help your fellow writers.
The Natural World
Create a piece about a variety of natural phenomena and wonders.

Just like it sounds. Write a review of different books, movies, television shows, and whatever…
