Explaining terror in Europe

To some of my American friends, clarification is neccesary. Some of you tend to think that the attacks in Europe are conducted by terrorsit who blended in the mass of refugees coming to Europe.

This is simply wrong.

These people are (for the vast majority) European citizens, they spent their lives there, never went to Syria to fight or something like that. And that is precisely the problem.

The goal of these terrorist organizations is to have our society implode. They want us to destroy ourselves from the inside. With actual armed conflicts, but also with conflicts of ideas among our own society. The fact that we are completely lost on what we should do (close the borders, profile everyone, mass surveillance, etc) is exactly what they want us to do. Contrary to what most think, these organizations have powerful political strategies.

If you don’t believe me, Google it. A book explaning the strategy of the group, found in Irak in 2003 (maybe 2004), says all of that.

So what do we do?

Our governments are supposed to be taking care of it. Such as bombing targeted areas (without civilians).

Our responsability as civilians is to be united. And resist what they are trying to do : brake us.

Do not be afraid, do not stigmatize, but be aware. Regarding the Muslim community in Europe, they are the ones who need to stand up and claim their community back. It’s tricky to interevne in another community that is not yours, without provoking feelings of discrimination and hate (even if they’re not wanted).

So muslims of Europe, please, stand up for your community, and end this. No one is against you, apart from the racist morons, but these people don’t matter.
