What is Validator
Validator is an application and a site which would like to try and give a solution to the difficulty we encounter when trying to find valid answers and information in our daily questions. Validator is trying to explain and “let you know your rights” and “what is valid or not”, in specific situations.
How did Validator get started
The “first idea” for the creation of Validator came just before Christmas 2016, for the course of “Leadership and Entrepreneurship Journalism” headed by Ms. Betty Tsakarestou, when Kelly Kapnia thought of a site which could possibly give valid information to people when in need. After our Christmas Vacation, the idea of Validator began to get started. Our team consists of five people: Kelly Kapnia, Mary Iakovidi, Afroditi Geronimaki, Tasos Choutas and Zoe Alexouli. After a few meetings and when we felt ready about providing our idea, we decided to form the site and our application.
Our Meetings
In the first meeting we worked with our model canvas and Focused mainly on answering all the possible questions which we could face from our “future clients” and tried to make the hole idea clear enough to the members of the team. In our second meeting we worked further the canvas and we paid more attention on the value propositions and key activities as well. That day, we decided to divide responsibilities and there fore Tasos Choutas managed to create the app in its initial form, Kelly Kapnia and Mary Iakovidi prepared the rest of the canvas and tried to find details to each section and Afroditi Geronimaki and Zoe Alexouli were responsible to discuss about the application with friends and give feedback to the rest of the team. In our next and last meeting we made a conversation about all the information we have gained and planned to become more extrovert in Social Media.
The current form of Validator
The Validator is an application that helps to “find what is true.” The aim is to clarify the truth that applies to different subject categories. More specifically, it lists what apply under the law for one category of issues. At the moment our venture is in progress and we have created our facebook page, twitter and instagram account as well and we are proud about our app even if it is not in its final edition. Our site is also under construction and we are trying to collect information and get organized in every tiny detail.
As long as working together, we have realized the importance and the power of an inspiring vision, how important it is to truly believe in the idea and of course the team work is basic to go further to the next step. We believe that we can make Validator a useful tool for everyone in a daily basis but to succeed this mission we need to really concentrate on our goal and continue working hard as a team.
