Sometimes while we are in academic life we can have a business idea and do not know how to deal with it…

It is important to not let this idea die, try to implement it, learn with it and grow as a person and also as a professional (or entrepreneur).

When I was doing my bachelor, my old university did not have any support for this and I let some good ideas die, which now I regret a lot, to be honest…

In my PhD university, DTU, we have Stardust:

Stardust is a non-profit organisation that stimulates entrepreneurial spirit and promotes innovation.

All the information above is from Stardust website:

What is the program?

Stardust Startup Program is the premier pre-early stage Startup discovery and incubator program at the Technical University of Denmark.

Is it for you?

The program is specifically designed to practice your soft skills that will complement your engineering knowledge. We welcome all students, recent graduates (up to 5 years), PhD and staff from DTU. For teams, at least one member must fulfill this condition.

How do we help?

We provide support and guidance through our partners and the best mentors to help your idea take flight. And we do not take equity.

When?

The program runs twice every year, during the fall and the spring semesters. It lasts 13 weeks and is manageable along your studies or work.

Applications for the program are open until February 9th!
