The Power of Giving

The Conservancy was recently awarded a $30,000 grant from The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation in support of our STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) environmental education programs.

An estimated 10,000 Pre K-12 students in Collier and Lee counties will benefit from school outreach programs and on-site field trips during the next year with the help of this support. These programs include hands-on activities to enhance scientific literacy, encourage critical thinking skills, and introduce participants to an understanding and appreciation of Southwest Florida’s unique environment.

Our thanks to the Foundation for helping us educate today’s students to become tomorrow’s science-savvy conservationists!
