My EOS Wallet update for Android. Get the latest version to create EOS and Bos accounts for free
Attic Lab has recently made it possible for any user to create an EOS or BOS account for free using My EOS Wallet bit.ly/giveaway_acc. The only limitation set was that one user can create one account
Unfortunately, some person or a group of people saw it as an opportunity to get some free EOS. As a result, using a rooted Android device the hacker(s) was able to create multiple accounts, unstake EOS and withdraw it to the Kucoin exchange. Here’s a list of accounts that were created.

We have applied several fixes on our server side and we are asking everyone using My EOS Wallet on Android to update to the latest version.
Furthermore, it’s been decided to provide less RAM and stop transferring the resources to the free accounts in the future.
