How to create EOS account on NOVA Wallet

With NOVA Wallet the official launch of Android, the creating account function has been added! We hope it will be good news to many users who don’t have EOS account yet.

We would like to thank you for your patience and open a free account creation event. Let’s see how to create an account for free in advance.

1. Click the “Create an account for free” button

Q : I already use this app. How can I get to start page?
A : My>Account page>Log out, then you are moving to start page.

2. Enter your email address.

Please enter your e-mail address to receive e-mail for authentication.

3. Check the email and click the “Authenticate” button.

If you click that button on mobile, you can create an account on the app. But if you click that button on PC, you can continue creating your account on your PC.

4. Enter the account name that you want.

There are three conditions for make account mane.

12 characters
Small letters, a to z
Numbers 1–5

Enter the name of the account that satisfies the above conditions, and the [Next] button will be activated.

Q: While typing in an account name, there is a warning message stating that the format is incorrect. Is this an error?
A: Maybe you were embarrassed by the warning message though you had not filled in your account name. This is because it checks in real time whether the account name is valid. If you are writing well in accordance with the above conditions, do not doubt and try to enter it to the end. When the account name that satisfies the condition is completed, the warning phrase will disappear :)

5. Enter the keys to link to the account.

This is the most important part of creating an account! Steps to register a key. You have to put Public Key of Owner Key and Active Key.

How can I get the key pairs?

NOVA Wallet has created a key generation function to reduce the hassle of leaving and entering the app to generate and enter the keys. You can enter the key generation page when you tap [Generate a key] button. Back up the key information and exit that page, you can see that the created key is applied directly to the field. One more note here is to back up key information in a safe place.

Once you have finished entering the Owner Key, the next step is to enter the Active Key. You can register a different key pair, but you can also register the same key pair. There is a function that you can use in this case. If you activate ‘Same as Owner Public Key’ in the above image, the key entered in the Owner Key will be automatically entered in the Active Key input field. But if you want to register a different key pair, please turn off the function and register another key.

6. Your account creation is complete.

Once you click the “Done” button, your account creation request is complete. If account creation complete, we will send you an email. Please check your email.
