EOSphere Guild — April ’22 Update
EOSphere operate a Guild on the WAX Protocol Network providing infrastructure, services and initiatives with focus on ensuring the health of the network, as well as assisting in growth and adoption of the WAX Ecosystem.
Welcome to our April 2022 EOSphere Guild Update. This is where we publicly inform our WAX community of EOSphere’s last six weeks challenges and achievements, rather than just sharing them with the WAX Office of Inspector General (OIG) and peer Guilds.
March/April has been an eventful period. We have been waiting for hardware and also experienced a few ISP issues. WAX Mainnet is a very demanding network with compute and network requirements constantly expanding .. which is great right? More use means better dApp adoption and a stronger token/NFT market.
Let’s jump into the update:
Technical Operations
Infrastructure and services are currently operating effectively. Looking at our WAX Protocol Network API this morning we are averaging around 1,850 request per second, so things are happening on WAX.
Our long awaited hardware has eventually arrived. It took close to two months for our NVMe SSD’s to get to us. This means we can now start building our expanded WAX Mainnet Hyperion cluster and start providing full public history on the WAX Mainnet again.
This hardware will also be used to add additional public peers and API servers to our WAX services.
Our ElasticSearch Snapshot Repository API is still fulfilling a valuable requirement amongst node operators and will be expanded to include WAX Testnet this month.
We had an ISP issue on the 9th and 10th of April where we missed 3 rounds. This is quite uncharacteristic of EOSphere. We have made a few changes to how we peer, which appears to have mitigated the issue.
Product Development
We are now in the MVP Alpha stage of HeadsUp our WAX Infrastructure Monitoring and Alerts Platform. It’s really starting to come together and I have been very happy with the teams progress.
This months focus in on alerting and GUI views of specific metrics from nodeos, hyperion and atomic api.
Business Development
A reminder that EOSphere are now offering Commercial Solutions for WAX Services.
We are able to host or operate your own infrastructure for the following:
Hyperion Full History
Atomic API
WAX Protocol Network API
At this point, we unfortunately aren’t able to provide this service to other WAX Guilds. However, you are welcome to use our ElasticSearch Snapshot Repository API.
Please contact us at info@eosphere.io to discuss your needs so we can craft a suitable solution for you.

We will be regularly releasing Technical How To articles from beginner to advanced and expect this will assist new potential Guild candidates and developers to get started on the WAX Protocol Network.
We are very open to suggestions on what articles we should do next or even what you’d love to see us doing more of as a WAX Guild, let us know in the EOSphere Telegram Channel
