We are passionate about the need to simplify the use of crypto as a means of payment. The reality is that nobody can simply remember a complicated wallet address on most networks and mistakes are often made costing not just cash but more importantly the trust of potential new users in the crypto space.
The need for an address layer to facilitate payments and transfers was an obvious gap and we have been very proud to support the FIO Protocol Network and the work of the Foundation for Interwallet Operability (https://fioprotocol.io/) since launch in March 2020.

A group of us FIO Block Producers came together (eosDublin, EOS Amsterdam, EOS Barcelona and EOSphere) and have been working behind the scenes on a straightforward onboarding platform called HeyFIO (https://beta.heyfio.com/) with the mission to make signup as simple in Crypto as it is for any other digital product out there.
Simply sign up to our Hey FIO Beta site and purchase a FIO Crypto Handle or FIO Domain with your existing FIO tokens or very easily using your credit card.
Your new FIO Crypto Handle or Domain is maintained on the HeyFIO Platform secured with 2FA however you can export your account keys for day to day use in one of the mainstream wallets such as edge (https://edge.app/) or Anchor (https://greymass.com/en/anchor/).
