pixEOS: Where Games and Art Collide

Before going into what this project is I wanted to share why I got involved and why I believe that pixEOS has a bright future.

I first got talking to Fred Co-Founder of pixEOS during a group discussion that we both were involved in on Telegram. Fred was passionate about the EOS Ecosystem and since I am always looking to surround myself by the right community members I decided to contact Fred directly to continue to discuss all things EOS and to continue to build my knowledge and my networking with like minded community members.

A month went past and Fred and I had built quite the rapport with each other and were talking on a daily basis. At this stage I had an understanding of who Fred and his family were, Fred had by this time talked about a project he was working on.

After Fred had explained what the project was (pixEOS) I knew that we at EOSphere had to apart of this project, not only because of the success it has ahead but we had to be involved with this team more so as they are doing the right things by the entire ecosystem.. we support any developers, businesses or community members that are willing to help grow EOSIO platform adoption through positive work in the ecosystem.

So now lets delve into why I am so excited about pixEOS and why I am posting this article.

Lead up to pixEOS

I will start with a simple question, Did you ever play Pixel Master? If you did well you can use that as the base layer to what pixEOS is. With the well known Pixel Master players were able to purchase and draw their own Pixel’s on a canvas and would try to ensure they have picked a prime location so that other community members would pixel over the top of their pixel and you would get rewarded in EOS.

You could have been the first person to get a prime location and paid .05 EOS but was now worth 100 EOS as member after member had pixeled over the top several times, IMO in a nutshell that is a quick run down of what Pixel Master was.

However I found there was not much of an incentive to continue returning to the canvas, as once you had spent a certain amount of EOS on pixels you would now just be waiting on others to pixel over the top.

What makes pixEOS different ?

A tokenised smart economy.

pixEOS is not only a game DApp. pixEOS Paint may be their launching DApp but pixEOS is a much wider platform.

pixEOS will develop the first arts and games smart-economy on the EOS blockchain, where pixEOS tokens have multiple utilities and support the artists, promote and present their work.

The pixEOS Project is designed to be a sustainable smart-economy as there are many ways to earn pixEOS and EOS tokens.. be it having fun drawing on pixEOS Paint, playing other games, contributing to the platform, supporting the EOS artists through the pixEOS Gallery and pixEOS Art House where artists can publish their art and get commission requests for Visual Arts and Creative Media services.

How will pixEOS continue to drive users to the platform ?

A major difference from other Pixel Master games is that pixEOS will have a staking concept as they have followed the same path as some other successful DApps such as DICE.

From the personalities of the founders they will always focus on the community first.

Bounties and contests to foment the creativity and engagement.

Allocating a part of the proceeds for EOS accounts distribution.

Supporting initiatives for new EOS users through art contests in schools and institutions.

Fred Nogueira and Jorge Alcario are the original founders of Pixeos, Head of Tech Jorge Alcario, Fabi Yamada and Gama Noza, devs from the community that joined the team that are backed by Torben and Brendon from EOSphere DEV and are already working on the game design and smart contracts.

The artists are Stellabelle, Yusaymon, Fabi Yamada and Julia K Ponsford which have all been appointed by pixEOS because of their involvement with the community.
