EOS Blasterz Guide for Game Modes

Hello, this is Conam from EOSYS.

Day1 Entertainment, and EOSYS has collaborated to now officially launch EOS Blasterz, which is supported by Google Play Store, Android APK, iOS (Direct Download), and the Web, in different versions, for different devices.

Today, I will help you in your EOS hunt, by going through the details of different modes on EOS Blasterz.

There are three different modes in EOS Blasterz. In each mode, there are differences in play time, admission fees, price distribution methods, and so on. I will start with what these modes have in common.

Mode Commonalities

1) 2 hours of cool time: The play time varies according to each mode, but they all have 2 hours of cool time after a mode ends. During this time, user-specific score verification processes take place, and the winner’s prize is distributed. Since you cannot enter game modes during the cool time, you must use other available modes.

2) Even distribution within ranks: The range of winners varies according to the mode, but users within the “prize receivable rank” are awarded a prize evenly, divided by the number of players — 1/n. Since the recipient range is set by an absolute value (top n number of players), or a set percentage of players for each mode, the “prize receivable rank” fluctuates in real time in some modes. (In the case of composite distribution modes, in which prize distribution range is divided into two sections, different amounts of prize money may be given.)

1. WEEKLY TOP10 & 100

The first mode is the Weekly mode, which is operated on a weekly basis.

  • Game Play Time: The game is available for 6 days and 22 hours a week. 2 hours out of the week is cool time.
  • Entrance Fees and Number of Challenges: The basic entrance fee is 0.2 EOS, and the number of challenges available are three challenges. One feature of the WEEKLY mode is that the entrance fee increases in proportion to 1% of the total amount collected every hour. The sooner you participate, the more affordably you can be ranked on the top player list.
  • Prize Distribution Range: The prize distribution range in the WEEKLY mode is divided into two sections. The first is the Top10 section, in which 50% of the total prize money is rewarded. Top10 users get 50% of the prize pool by 1/n. The remaining 50% of the prize money is then distributed to the top 100 users. Therefore, the users included in the Top10 rankings receive prize money twice.

2. DAILY TOP 190

This is the DAILY mode, as it literally says. It starts at 03:00 KST (UTC +9), and ends at 1:00 the next day.

  • Game Play Time: 22 hours, excluding 2 hours of cool time.
  • Entrance Fees and Number of Challenges: The basic entrance fee is 0.5 EOS, and users are given 10 opportunities to participate in the challenge. When users use all 10 chances, they have to pay for the entrance fees again.
  • Prize Distribution Range: Up to the top 190 players, prize money is distributed equally by 1/n. The DAILY mode is a mode in which users looking for stable profits can easily, and consistently attain prize money, as opposed to winning large lump sums.

3. DEAD HEAT TOP5 & 50

In the DEAD HEAT mode, users win the prize through extreme competition against other users during a shorter period of time.

  • Game Play Time: The play time is basically set to 12 hours. If there is a change in the TOP10 rankings an hour within the end of the round, the time limit is extended for an additional hour.
  • Entrance Fees and Number of Challenges: The entrance fee is 0.2 EOS, and users receive 3 challenge opportunities.
  • Prize Distribution Range: In DEAD HEAT mode, as with the WEEKLY mode, the prize distribution range is divided into two sections. The first is the TOP5 section, in which 50% of the total prize money is rewarded. The remaining 50% of the prize money is distributed to the top 50 users. Even if you’re not skilled in playing the game, if you can make it to the top 50, you will receive rewards as you have participated.
