Wanchain early liquidity provider rewards for ECR holders

To celebrate the successful launch of Epicenter Token on Wanchain and further build on our unfolding partnership, we’ll be airdropping a total of 100 wanECR to early liquidity providers for USDC. Our goal is to incentivize the onboarding of USDC liquidity into the Epicenter ecosystem.

On October 10th, Sunday 12 PM UTC, a snapshot will be taken of all wanECR/wanUSDC LP tokens, and users with those Liquidity Pool (LP) tokens will be airdropped wanECR proportionally to their percentage share of LP tokens.

To learn how to create wanECR/wanUSDC and other LP tokens, continue reading the guide below.

Every Citizen’s Reserve token (ECR) is the governance token of the Epicenter ecosystem, with the primary functions of maintaining the value of the Epicenter stablecoin, EUSD, and giving holders voting rights to set policies and parameters governing the system. You can learn more about ECR and the other tokens in the Epicenter ecosystem website.

This guide describes Epicenter ECR trading and providing liquidity on networks such as Wanchain and Polygon and uses WanSwap as an example. Liquidity providers are users who add liquidity to liquidity pools, an essential part of automated market making (AMM) decentralized exchanges. In exchange for contributing liquidity, liquidity providers are rewarded a portion of the trading fees, which get added to their Liquidity Pool token balance. If interested, you can learn more about liquidity providers here.

In order to trade and provide liquidity with ECR, it is needed to first add ECR to your token visibility list and set up your desired layer 2 solution. If these steps have not been done yet, you can find instructions on them here.

Swapping step-by-step instructions

Step 1.

Navigate to your desired decentralized exchange dApp website:

Step 2.

Select “Select a token” and select ECR. If ECR is not visible, it is necessary to add the smart contract address for ECR (ensure you have the correct address for the network):

Wanchain ECR token contract address: 0xaacb8505b680dd287ecde9679c72aa5fef2e9b0c

Polygon ECR token contract address: 0x89606fA5d084edA5E9949F7b8F750c65c609eB46

Decimals:
18

Symbol:
ECR on Polygon, WanECR on Wanchain

Step 3.

Input the desired amount to swap and approve smart contract interaction to swap.

  • Select desired trading pair and input desired amount to swap
  • Approve ECR (or wanECR on Wanchain)
  • After approving ECR, the Swap option will be enabled
  • Check the “Price Impact” and ensure it is acceptable. Price Impact refers to the percentage loss you will incur from the swap
  • Select the Swap button to complete the trade

Adding liquidity step-by-step instructions

Step 1.

To add liquidity, click “Pool” at the top of the menu, and choose either “Add Liquidity” if it is for an existing Liquidity Provider (LP) token, or “Create a Pair” if it is for a new LP token. “Create a Pair” is for making a new LP pair and lets users pick any pair and set the price of the assets (since you are the first liquidity provider).

Step 2.

Select the desired pair of tokens to make LP tokens from them

Step 3.

Approve both tokens and click Supply. On the next pop-up, confirm adding LP supply (and creating new LP if applicable) to create the LP tokens.

Step 4.

You can view your LP tokens by clicking Pool in the menu top. Add will let you add more of your desired tokens into LP tokens. Remove will let you change your LP tokens back to the original separate tokens.

Step 5 (Optional).

Some LP tokens can be added into “LP Pools” in order to earn yield farm rewards in addition to the LP token rewards from swapping fees. You can view such LP Pools by clicking Farming at the menu top.
