IMPORTANT INFORMATION Re: EPIC Coin Block rewards increase at block 200,000

With every reward increase our Block Explorer + Seed Nodes MUST be resynced to get our chain moving again. There is a consensus issue within the PIVX codebase when it comes to increasing block rewards, this is why a re-sync for our EPIC Block Explorer + See Nodes is required.

Brief Outline of events to follow:

1. All exchanges will halt withdrawals + Deposits approx 2–8 hrs prior to block 200K — This is to ensure the users funds are safe until we get our blockchain moving again.
2. Our EPIC seed nodes and explorer need to be fully resynced to the correct height this occurs with every block reward increase, thankfully this is the last reward increase so this should be the last time we undertake this exercise
3. Then the Exchanges need to resync their wallets to the correct height as per our Seed nodes and block explorer, Once the exchanges are fully synced with our Block Explorer and Seed nodes we will get them to Re-open Deposits/Withdrawals
4. Masternode hosting platforms such as MMH, ihostmn and My Staking Wallet will be informed and they will also need to resync their wallets (Masternodes MAY need to be restarted locally via your EPIC wallet)
5. Then we ask everyone to resync their wallets to ensure that everyone is on the correct block height as per our Explorer and Seed Nodes.
6. Masternodes hosted on VULTR or any other cloud provider will need to be re-synced with a few simple commands that will be provided (Masternodes MAY need to be restarted locally via your EPIC wallet)

We will ensure plenty of notice is given prior to block 200K and during the “Re-sync” we do ask everyone to remain patient whilst we sort our chain out.

This is just a brief overview of the events that will occur leading up to block 200K

It is possible our chain could be down for upto 12–24hrs, but know that your EPIC will be 110% safe during this above operation providing you follow our instructions as they are presented to the community.
