KUBO + EPIC — THE MERGER OF VISIONS MORE POWERFUL AS ONE
Kubo Coin and Epic Coin have established a strong partnership with each other which has grown and developed rapidly due to the fast-paced expansion of both projects. After extensive deliberation, it was agreed upon that the best way for both projects to move forward is by combining their individual strengths into one.
EPIC is a masternode project hosting a peer-to-peer asset exchange, or an “escrow service”. The Epic Trader Platform is currently in full beta and the very anticipated launch is scheduled to take place soon in Q1 2019. With KUBO now as the parent company, the very difficult process of licensing to become compliant with the Securities and Exchange Commission, will not delay the Epic Trader Platform launch because KUBO already has the required licenses in place.
For the short-midterm, both Kubo and Epic chains will remain separate from one another and use case for each will not change. As things continue to progress however, the anticipated goal is for both projects to combine as one master-chain which will be SEC compliant, incorporate lightning node compatibility, operate with the new ETH fork, and facilitate atomic swaps. This new master chain will be MN/PoS and will be a high collateral, low emission coin that will take the place of both Kubo and Epic. Furthermore, the escrow component that EPIC currently utilizes will be highly useful when integrated into the ELO exchange which is set to launch in Q1 2019.
To further specify, the KuboCoin chain will not have masternodes nor will masternodes be implemented onto the chain itself by the developers. The only methods that a Kubo investor can use to acquire a masternode within the projects will be from swapping or trading Kubo tokens for Epic coins through Elo. Exchange or the Epic Trader. In both methods, Kubo investors can accumulate the require Epic coins for a masternode collateral to set up a masternode.
With the merger of Epic and its unique PoS/MN algo blockchain, the pre-existing Kubo community will have the opportunity to participate/invest in staking and masternodes. At the time of this piece, it takes 10k Epic coins to create a masternode and only 300 epic coins to generate a staking reward. The stakes generated for holding your Epic coins in either a masternode or Epic wallet allow the opportunity to gain a passive income like what one would expect in saving account with a bank but the Epic ROI (return on investment) percentage is much higher.
In addition, if one is an Epic masternode owner, he/she also gains a dividend payment from the fees collected on the EpicTrader platform. Giving an added incentive to hold and build your Epic Coin holdings over a longer period. This coupled with the low emissions and total coin supply of the Epic Coin Project, provides a different crypto experience for the investors in the KuboCoin Project.
On the other end, as part of the Kubo Project, the EpicCoin project will have a listing on ELO exchange where Kubo is the native exchange token and a KUBO/EPIC market to trade will be created alongside BTC, ETH, DOGE, and LTC. The Epic Coin community will also benefit from the utility of Kubo’s debit cards and a merchant ecosystem through are partnership with Aeryus to allow the purchasing of goods and services with crypto. Coupled with the opportunity to directly exchange their EpicCoin to Kubo to either USD or Euro fiat. The ability to liquidate and convert one’s assets will be a staple in the turn key style ecosystem Kubo is building with its partnerships and the Epic community will be put at the center of it all due to it now being part of Kubo.
