Who is Necromancer?
Necromancers were traditionally responsible for the burial of the deceased. They took great pride in their expertise to dispose of corpses. But because society treated them unfairly because they performed menial chores, they went south and created their own creed. This eventually evolved into Izendar’s voodoo, and the cult grew substantially as strangers drawn to the creed joined.
They lived among the dead for a very long period, learning how to summon and deal with them, and they held the belief that the world beyond death was more broad than it was when they were living. On the night that Izendar’s barrier fell and monsters swarmed the human realm, they immediately sensed the stench of death and headed to Balos.
He brings a corpse back to life and conjures shadowland spirits to aid in battle. He is an intriguing character with a range of skills to defend himself using corpses, even though his physical strength is equally poor as the Sorceress’.
Weapons
The Necromancer wields an eerie symbiosis of a wickedly curved sickle in one hand and a mystical lantern in the other. These implements serve as conduits for channeling the potent energies of the underworld, allowing the Necromancer to tap into the very essence of death itself.
With these potent tools at their command, the Necromancer calls upon the energies of the abyss to summon forth the very souls of the departed.
