Self-aware artificial intelligence has always appeared in science fiction works, triggering a long-lasting discussion among the general audience as well as scientists.

For decades, video games have been a preferred scenario for testing the latest artificial intelligence programs. The most common test is the AI’s reactive system — where the machine accepts a set of conditions and decides on an action based on its programming. This is common in video games, where the most typical is testing various types of NPC behavior.
What RCT AI is doing is the AI technology of the NPC demonstrated in the movie FreeGuy.
In 2019, they made a playable technical demo of a bank robbery where the player acted as a robber. All NPCs in the demo were completely AI-driven, and every line was generated by AI instantly. The behavior of NPCs changes dynamically with different players. The following video demonstrates three different plot paths.
