The inbuilt functionalities of the EpiK Wallet has made it an application that serves a myriad of functions. These functions are linked to various EpiK Protocol projects which have over the time allowed users to earn on the go. As with some applications and the experience of first timers, there are teething problems encountered by users. Part of these problems is what this article intends to provide solutions to.

The EpiK Wallet is imbued with a swapping function. Users can swap their EPKs for any ETH based token or vice versa. This simple process of swapping on the EpiK Wallet can become a tiring one for a new user who has not grasped the workings of the application. It should be noted that, where delays are experienced during swapping, it has to do with the ETH network and not failure on the part of the EpiK Wallet.

PROCESSES INVOLVED IN SETTING UP AND SWAPPING ON THE EPIK WALLET.

● Download The EpiK Wallet

The first step on the road to swapping on the EpiK Wallet is to download it. It must be noted that the application supports and works perfectly on both Android and iOS. Following the process is choosing either to create a new wallet or to import one. Both are different as the latter means the user previously has the EpiK Wallet and only needs the ETH mnemonic phrase to complete the importation.

● Setting Up The EpiK Wallet

A successful importation or setting up of the Wallet will show the interface represented in the image below.

● Swapping Function On The EpiK Wallet

One of the numerous roles the EpiK Wallet does is the swapping function on it. The process involved in getting this done on it is simple as the interface allows for easy navigation. The first step to getting that done is by clicking on the displayed “swap” icon on the homepage.

After the circled image is clicked, the next page that will be displayed shows “Service Notes”, “Risk Warning” and “Disclaimers”. All these must be read and understood by the user who intends to interact with the EpiK Wallet. Right after the above, the images below will be displayed depending on the swap to be carried out by the user.

  1. The necessary information like minimum (11 EPKs) and maximum (100,000 EPKs) to swap and the corresponding gas fee (1 ERC20-EPK) will be displayed if the user is swapping ERC20-EPK for EPK.
  2. 2. Where the user intends to swap EPK for ERC20-EPK, the minimum amount to send is 21 while the maximum is 100, 000 and 20 EPK is earmarked for gas.
  3. 3. The pointed arrow shows the expected time for each of the swapping to be done.

After the relevant information pertaining to the swapping has been supplied, including supplying the password, the user needs to head back to the home page and check the “Swap Records” as displayed on the top right hand of the Swap page to check the status of their swap after each allotted time depending on the exchange done.

As displayed in the images above, either of EPK or ERC20-EPK can be swapped for the other. A one-touch click on the up-down arrows would show a change in how the tokens are to be swapped. Any token at the top means the user intends to swap it for the one below or underneath as boldly displayed on the EpiK Wallet using the words “from” and “to”.
