Hello teachers! As our whiteboard.chat community starts to grow, teachers are using innovative techniques to make teaching more effective. One very efficient way is to use one computer to do your Zoom/WebEx/Google Meet to share things with your classroom and use another computer to view your students’ boards.

Here’s how you set it up:

  1. On your first computer, start your teaching session on the first computer by going to whiteboard.chat > Start Drawing > Start Teaching

2. Click on the “Settings” or “Gear” icon to check that you are signed in.

3. Name your board by clicking on “Unnamed” along the top of the board.

Let’s say we call our board “Addition and Subtraction”.

4. On your second computer, go to whiteboard.chat > Start teaching > Manage Boards:

You will be requested to sign-in if you have not already. Use the same sign-in credentials as the first computer. The Addition and Subtraction should board should show up on the Manage Boards page. Click on the arrow on the card to bring up this board on the second computer.

Click on the arrow to bring up this board

Clicking on the Grid View Icon along the bottom of the board, then brings up your students boards.

Happy teaching!
