Use Whiteboard.chat with Zoom Video conference

Hello Dear Reader,

Here are a few steps you can do to use whiteboard.chat with zoom for conferencing.

Step1: Create a new teaching board and share the link with the students

Go to whiteboart.chat and click the start teaching button.

On the board click the Invite button on the top right. This will open an invite dialog.

Click the Copy Invite URL button. You can share this with the students by putting it on the google classroom or putting it on Zoom Chat.

Step 2: When the students click the link, it will open their browser and take them directly into their individual boards. The Zoom meeting will keep running in the background and the students can hear the teacher.

Whatever the teacher draws or does on the teacher board is automatically replicated to the student’s board so they do not need to switch back and forth.

Step 3: To end the drawing session and switch back to the Zoom. Or to switch between the browser and the Zoom Video on a desktop, the kids can go to the taskbar.

On an iPad, you can switch applications by using one finger to swipe up from the bottom of the screen, you will see small windows of Zoom or Browser. You can just click to switch to the application.
