Why write for EpochIIITS?

Our goal is to help people understand the art of Artificial Intelligence simply and intuitively. We want writers who can present topics in AI with ease. If you are one of those people, then continue your journey, and I’ll see you again at the end of this article.

Publishing in a Medium publication enables your post to reach a bigger audience. You will still have full ownership of your post, per Medium’s Terms of Service.

How can I make my article better?

Like I said before, we value content that is intuitive to our readers.

1. If you are writing about a brand new topic or trend in AI, we’d love to take a look at it. However, if it is about something that already has many articles about it, please think twice before starting to write. We want your article to reach as many people as possible. If you are explaining a new perspective on a topic, we’d love to look at those too.
2. Be sure to include references to any papers, GitHub repositories, etc., that you refer to in your article.
3. If you want to include code snippets in your article, we urge you to use Medium’s native code blocks or GitHub gists. Do not embed screenshots of the code into your article. Make sure you explain the code snippet so that the readers understand it.
4. Have a short title with a catchy subtitle. A not-too-wordy title and a catchy subtitle will make your article more appealing and will increase views.
5. Don’t chase the rabbit hole. If you’re trying to explain a topic, stick to it. Don’t veer off and start explaining another topic.
6. If you want to add images to your article, try Unsplash — a vast collection of free stock images. But be sure to include the owner of the image in the article to avoid copyright infringements.

Submission Rules

Before you submit your article to us, please ensure your article follows the rules listed below. By submitting your article, you agree to the rules.

1. As EpochIIITS is a Medium publication, Medium’s Terms of Service apply to us too. Make sure you go through it before submitting your article.
2. As explained in Medium’s Terms of Service, you own the rights to your content you post on Medium and thus EpochIIITS, and are therefore responsible for it. This means you assume all risks related to it, including copyright infringements and other legal rights.
3. If your article does not comply with Medium’s Content Guidelines and Medium’s Curation Guidelines, we will not publish it on EpochIIITS.
4. You are free to edit or remove your article from our publication at any time.
5. We might make minor corrections to your submitted article, like spelling mistakes and minimal format updating. We might also remove media where the source isn’t stated clearly. Copyright violations could happen to you, the consequences being unpredictable.
6. If our team finds that you violate one or more of our rules, we will remove the article from our publication and report the incident to Medium.

How do I submit my article?

If you are publishing your first article to EpochIIITS, you need to become a writer. You can submit your article using this form. Please note that we only work with Medium. We accept only Medium draft links or Medium articles. We do not accept PDF, Google Docs, Word Documents, etc.

Once you have published your first article with us, we will add you to the publication as a writer. After that, you will be able to submit your content to EpochIIITS directly through Medium.
