Launched just five years ago, EQT Ventures has grown rapidly to be a large global early-stage Venture fund with €1.2bn under management. Built and run by founders and operators, our mission is to be the “most trusted partner for the best founders globally — the VC we wanted when we were running companies.” With a strong focus on Europe, EQT Ventures invests from late seed/early-A through to Series C across five offices, with teams in Stockholm, London, Paris, Berlin, and San Francisco. 75% of current EQT Ventures investments are in European companies looking to grow rapidly across Europe (and sometimes internationally), while 25% of the fund is focused on US companies looking to enter Europe.

This includes world-class former operators who work for our fund on behalf of all our companies exclusively, combined with a network of incredible leaders that dedicate some of their time to our Portfolio Companies
• EQT Ventures is part of EQT, a global investment company with $62bn of assets under management. This brings a wealth of expertise and a unique network of companies and executives that can accelerate the growth of our portfolio companies

EQT Ventures’ operations support is the foundation of our Operating Platform, which works with our portfolio companies on anything talent, product, data, go-to-market, corporate development, and/or sustainability-related. As demand for this operating platform, our portfolio, and the number of EQT Ventures offices grows, it has become clear that we need to bring onboard a stellar “Head of Network” who is passionate about cultivating and scaling a global community of entrepreneurs and executives.

Areas of ownership / responsibilities:

• Founders Community: nurture the founders community online (via Slack, Notion) and offline (via events, workshops), turning it into a safe place for founders to engage, learn, and ask questions
• Operating Executive Network (OEN): extend the capacity of EQT Ventures to support founders by selecting and onboarding a group of tier-one executives from fast-growing companies that commit to dedicate some time to scale our portfolio companies. These could be executives from the EQT Ventures network, your personal network, or people we ought to know
• EQT Access: lead and develop the early program that connects our venture companies with a network of CFROs, CFOs, CTOs, and CMOs from leading companies within and without the EQT portfolio, giving them the opportunity to pitch their product and services to a number of high quality potential customers

What success looks like eighteen months into the role

• Founder NPS is at a all-time high
• Run one of the most inspiring, yearly founders’ events within the larger VC community
• Ongoing workshops on areas/topics that are in high demand run by the best talent in the industry
• Identify, onboard, and nurture a team of operating executives that complement the skills of our in-house team
• Develop the EQT Access program, running events throughout the year to introduce portfolio companies to groups of curated potential customers
• Create lots of growth opportunities for our founders and have tons of fun doing it

Attributes we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience working in VC or fast growing startups in a partnership, business development or talent role
• High EQ, people-driven, with strong networking skills and experience working with founders
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Collaborative and dedicated to bringing about positive change
• Well-informed about the tech ecosystem and trends
• Obsessed about working with startups, connecting with great people, and helping founders

Location: Europe, flexible across EQT Ventures — London, Paris, Berlin or Stockholm
