Justice by Design: A TED Talks About Equity, Community Design, and Living Experts

What is the power of design? Why should designers and creative practitioners participate in social justice efforts? What’s the power of community members (a.k.a. the Living Experts) when addressing challenges within their own backyards?

In this talk, Antionette Carroll, Founder, President and CEO of Creative Reaction Lab, posed and answered these questions. Proposing a new way to address human inequities, Antionette challenges us to think about our Tables of Collaboration, why we should stand up (and follow-through) in moments of anger and disappointment, and how we all have the power to design better outcomes.
