Trump Exploits Jewish Students as Unwitting Pawns in Administration’s Attacks on Higher Education
Inside the Christian nationalist agenda targeting academic freedom and exploiting Jewish students for political gain.
By now, most of us have heard of “Project 2025,” created in 2024 by the conservative think tank, the Heritage Foundation: an ultra-right Christian nationalist organization. “Project 2025” is the Heritage Foundation’s 900-page book subtitled “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise”: a blueprint for the next Republican President for the establishment of a United States government imbued with “biblical principles” and overseen by a president who holds extreme sweeping executive powers.
Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts begins the book by spotlighting the fortification of “our God-given individual rights to live freely” against a “woke” threat.
“Today the Left is threatening the tax-exempt status of churches and charities,” warns Roberts without providing any evidence, “that reject woke progressivism. They will soon turn to Christian schools and clubs with the same totalitarian intent.”
