EQ Community Can Get x1.5 Higher APR During The Blast
Equilibrium Blast liquidity mining program rewards loyal community members who follow us closely on socials or participate in our events. All of them are eligible to get an x1.5 multiplier on the yield they are receiving according to the Blast terms. This article explains how simple it is to get the multiplier and how exactly it works.
Equilibrium’s Communal Blast Bonus in action
Communal Blast Bonus is a x1.5 base APR multiplier provided to Equilibrium’s community members on any activity supported by the Blast program. The multiplier is applied to APR rewards you receive in EQ tokens through participation for the duration of the Blast program.
For example, if you are staking your funds in the Insurance pool, you are eligible for regular interest coming from borrowers (dynamic APR of 2–20%) plus 15% APR paid by the Blast program. If you are our community member at the same time, you can expect an increased 15% x 1.5 = 22.5% APR on this particular activity.

Communal Blast Bonus adds to the APR multiplier for EQ lock
We have announced another bonus opportunity that comes with EQ staking. Everyone who holds EQ can lock their holdings for a specific period to receive a reward boost of up to x3.4 in this way.
The exact APR multiplier for EQ staking depends on the selected lock option. You can choose a period ranging between 1 month (x1.05 APR) and 2 years (max x3.4 APR). Keep in mind that this multiplier applies on your liquidity stake equal to the USD value of EQ locked.
Great news is that this multiplier adds up to the Communal Blast Bonus for EQ community members. As such, eligible accounts can benefit from both simultaneously adding up to max APR >90%. These rewards will be distributed every eight hours.
Who is eligible for x1.5 APR?
Everyone who is either subscribed to our socials (Twitter, Discord, or Telegram newsfeed), participated in our previous public events (PLO1, Kusama and Polkadot Crowdloans, EQ Offering), or ever used our eqDOT, xDOT, and Genshiro products is a candidate to enjoy our x1.5 APR multiplier.
