Equilibrium Is Offering A $5,000 Grant For A Good DeFi Idea
We’re pleased to announce our first DeFi Brainstorm, which will be attached to the Crypto DeFiance e vent coming up on November 16 in Singapore. If you have a great idea for a decentralized finance application, you only need to tell us about it for the chance to win a $5,000 grant.
We will accept contest entries up until November 15 — those wanting to enter only need to submit an application that includes a writeup of the idea, links to any prototype that might exist, a description of the project’s current phase, and the next major milestone to be reached in its development. We’ll select three finishers by opening it up to a community vote using EOSDT.
Between 10 AM and 4:30 PM SGT on November 16th, members of the EOSDT community can vote for one idea each by sending one EOSDT from one wallet address. Whichever three project ideas collect the most EOSDT by the close of voting will each get ten minutes to present their ideas to our panel of four judges — this can happen in-person in Singapore or virtually.
The jury will choose a winner by open vote, and that winner will receive $5,000 worth of NUT as a milestone grant as soon as the project successfully reaches its next phase of development. (If EOSDT voting nets more than $5,000, then the grant is increased accordingly.)
Whether you’re an experienced blockchain developer, a crypto trader, or another form of cryptocurrency enthusiast, you only need a good idea to get started in this competition. We’ll be sharing results as we have them, so stay tuned for the application period to open on November 1.
