About EQ Ambassador DAO

From inception, our community has played a major role in our growth. So we thought there was no better way to continue our journey to the moon than building a spaceship and requesting you come aboard.

That’s why we’ve created the EQ Ambassador DAO — to prove that the success of a project lies in the hands of the community and make decentralized finance more transparent.

We seek passionate, talented, self-starters with relevant backgrounds in crypto/DeFi and a good understanding of Equilibrium and Polkadot. We believe our community’s creativity can be the driving force behind Equilibrium’s growth, so we want you to join us to create, discuss, and implement your ideas for the project.

But this doesn’t come without reward.

What are the benefits?

• Earn a bunch of EQ tokens (and bonuses) for completing tasks and creating stand-out performances. Each month, the performer with the best results will be crowned the ‘Ambassador of the Month’ and earn extra rewards.

Who are you?

While we’d like everyone to participate in this program, we think members with the following may have an edge:

• Passionate about cryptocurrencies, looking for a platform to grow the DeFi industry, and be ready to talk about it in public
• Knowledgeable about Equilibrium and Polkadot: relevant work experience in the crypto space is a plus
• Great at creating valuable content, not just creating content for likes and retweets — this is important :)
• Eager to leverage your skills in one of the following areas: community moderation and SMM; marketing and growth; content creation, copywriting, and translation; analytics; design and video editing; event management.

How can you help?

We’ve split the Ambassador program into four (4) groups to accommodate everyone. Here’s an overview of the respective tasks of the groups:

Senior Ambassadors

• Spread the word about our program and attract new ambassadors
• Onboard the new ambassadors, co-ordinate, and help them
• Assist in the creation of proposals, tasks completion, and voting
• Be an active community member and take part in all voting exercises
• Get extra rewards

Content creators

• Educate the community and the broader public about Equilibrium and DeFi-related topics
• Create engaging and insightful content in the form of blogs, memes, social media posts, etc., to be published across your various channels

• Translate content, news, and other announcements to expand how Equilibrium engages with its non-English speaking audiences — Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Vietnamese

Event ambassadors

• Represent Equilibrium at external AMA sessions
• Propose AMA sessions topics and host them on Discord or Twitter on behalf of the Equilibrium team
• Keep an eye out for ecosystem events and propose participation opportunities

How to become an Ambassador of Equilibrium DAO?

Applying to be Equilibrium DAO’s ambassador is easy and straightforward:

Step 1: Join our social channels: Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Medium. Also, tweet in your account that you’d like to join the Equilibrium Ambassador DAO and don’t forget to tag @EquilibriumDeFi

Step 2: Fill out the form. Please submit a thorough application

Step 3: Get a Polkadot wallet address (if you haven’t got any) to receive rewards: Get one here.

Step 4: We’ll reach out to prospective candidates on Discord or via email

Step 5: We’ll onboard selected candidates as EQ Ambassadors and get them up to speed about the program
