From time to time, we showcase one of our Equine Exchange Verified horses. Caterpillar, aka “Flirt,” is a proven winner and a safe, reliable mount to reach your goals in the hunter ring.

Like all Equine Exchange Verified horses, Caterpillar is offered for sale with an extensive due diligence package and assurance that the transaction will be conducted above-board and properly documented.

Height: 16.2

Year of birth: 2004

Caterpillar has been racking up championships on the AA Circuit in the 3’3” Performance Hunter Divisions, including recently at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show and Show Jumping Classic at the Texas Rose Horse Park. He was also in the ribbons with his junior rider in 3'3" Junior Hunters at Capital Challenge last fall and has top placings in the 3'6" Performance Hunter divisions and USHJA International Hunter Derbies.

His junior rider will be heading off to college soon, so “Flirt” is searching for his next owner. He is the perfect horse for the amateur or junior rider looking for a safe and reliable mount that will be competitive among even the most impressive field of horses. He would be a great match for someone ready to move up to the junior hunters or equitation. He is very forgiving, with an easy lead change, and brave at the jumps and in any ring.
