It’s commonly known that nowadays some people suffer from oppression and discrimination. The specific Erasmus+ program was about this kind of situations. More specifically it was about how people experience oppression and how they can deal with it through theater.

We did several activities and projects like performances and image theater. It was really interesting and necessary since we tried to understand and realize how the oppressed feel and cope with the situation. We did some acts and then we tried to change and improve the situation. It was important to figure out how we can in real life to help other people or even ourselves.

We learned numerous things about abusive behaviors and of course relationships. It was difficult to watch how oppressed people feel and how they can even hurt themselves. It was a great lesson for us to try to change some people’s attitudes when they witness the oppression. The most difficult part was to change how the oppressor act. Theater was an amazing and effective way to realize what is happening.

Last but not least each and every person should try to help others when they suffer. As well as to be there for them, to be supportive and to expose the oppressor.
