Czech Republic: A once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Participating in the “Contact meeting YPA” Erasmus+ project was an unforgettable experience.

Starting from Thessaloniki, me and the rest of the Greek team traveled all together to reach the Czech Republic and specifically Jindrichuv Hradec, which was the village where our project took place. We stayed at a very warm place with such hospitable staff that took care of us all day long!

Each day was a unique experience for us. We discussed many different and interesting topics and did many activities. Through them, we exchanged thoughts and concerns concerning our countries on a social and political level. Finally, we discovered how many common things unite Europeans!

In addition, we were divided into groups and asked to learn the process and «organize» our own project, which was one of the most difficult but important and interesting parts of our project.

It was really surprising how we all broadened our horizons through our discussions and learned so many things. Fun ways of getting to know each other were always part of the program. At the end of each day, we had an intercultural night for every country. It was so fun and interesting getting to know the culture of so many other people around us.

The Czech Republic is such an amazing country that made my Erasmus+ experience unforgettable!
