This was not the first time I’ve been to Spain and I loved it like the first time. Spain is such a beautiful country, full of life, music and dance.

The journey was really long it took us more than a day to get there since it’s really hard to get to Badajoz. In order to get to Badajoz from Greece we took two different planes and two buses. Thankfully in one of the airports we found a place to stay since we had to wait for more than 20 hours for our next flight.

Thanks to the Youthminds training course we got the opportunity to see Sevilla, Badajoz (which was the city our project was taking place), and Malaga.

Badajoz is really amazing, it’s a really big city with many monuments and places to visit. We saw there the famous Puerta de Palmas, La Alcazaba, the beautiful Plaza España and of course Paseo Fluvial del Guadiana.

Unfortunately, Badajoz is not easy to reach since you have to change many vehicles (cars, buses, public transportation) in order to get there so you need to be well informed and adaptable.

We almost got banned in Badajoz because our driver canceled our ride and we had to find a plan quickly.

Also in Badajoz there is a guy with a flute who’s walking around the city all day and wherever you turn your head you will see him. And this was kinda like an inside joke in our training course and we were sending pictures from every part of the city that we would see him!

Spain is an amazing place to visit during an Erasmus+ project and it can make your experience even better!
