Creating a glow in embroidery

This image contains more than 67 colours, including various gold ones that we used to create a glow on the Golden Rock. We’ve used extra special reflecting threads which glow in various ways under changing light conditions.

The photograph that has served as a base material for this photo embroidery, was taken by famous Steve McCurry in the early morning hours, and it depicts monks praying at the famous Golden Rock in Myanmar.
