When I was trying to copy some stuff back to my kindle it just got stuck on USB drive mode. I tried Plugging-in or out but it still didn’t work.

Nothing worked. (Happened same?)

Don’t worry let’s fix this issue!

How to Fix a Kindle Stuck in USB Drive Mode

First, connect your Kindle to the computer. Go to the computer, choose the kindle drive, right-click and press the eject button.

For Mac, open the “Finder” application, click on the Kindle under “Devices” on the left-hand sidebar, and press the eject button.

If that doesn’t work, try restarting it.

Here are the steps:

  1. Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
  2. Wait for the green light to flicker and release.
  3. Press the power button again to turn on your Kindle.

My problem was fixed after I followed these steps.

Still, Facing a hard time? try plugging in the Kindle. Leave it for 10–15 minutes on the computer. It should automatically detect the Kindle and reboot it.

At last

If you’re still having trouble, contact Amazon customer service for help. I saw many users getting free replacements in these types of cases. So, it is always worth a try!

I hope this article helped you fix the issue. If you have any further questions or suggestions, please let me know in the comments section below. Thank you for reading!
