Do you ever feel like it’s “Groundhog Day”? The days are running together and you feel bored and uninspired? It may be time to spark a renewed focus and get out of that rut!

Here are 3 ways to get out of a rut:

1) Do a task in your business you don’t normally do

Trying something different might give you greater perspective. And it will get you out of whatever mundane task you are in. Shocking the system has a way to get you out of the daily grind and working on a task in the business that isn’t comfortable. Or you just may realize you hate doing that other task and you will gladly go back to doing what you do!

2) Create something

It could be a blog post, a marketing piece, something for your website, a business idea. Creativity encourages being more open-minded. Let the creativity work to your advantage and get you out of the rut.

3) Work elsewhere

Not saying to leave your job, unless of course the rut you are in is long term. What I am suggesting is if you work in the same office most days, try working from home, or a coffee shop or a park, or a client’s office or at a beach. Whatever you do, get yourself out of the routine. Snap your fingers and it can be done. This may not be possible for everyone, but you should work with people that encourage you to be the best you and working at a different location for a day or a few may be exactly what you need.

Of course there are other ways to get out of a rut by switching it up. And that includes taking a day off, travel, exercise or reading a book. Either way, realize being in a rut is normal and then find whatever works for you to get out of it!

If you dig this, giving it a Like would be so appreciated! Thank YOU!
