00 Overview

We start our research from the central question:

Why is it very frustrated for the dog owners to find a dog boarding center?

What they care about when they try to find a dog boarding center ?

Problem Statement

Pet Owners might have encountered the following situation:

  • Trying to search a suitable pet center for their lovely dog. They asked a lot of friends and searched from internet for a long time, anxious about how they could find a suitable place for their dogs in the peak time.
  • Worrying about their dogs’ condition when they were away.
  • With such complaints from the pet owners, we conclude that pet owners who had such bad searching experience might need a product to help them finding a suitable pet center efficiently. We want to build a powerful product to make users’ experience easier and less worried.

With the hypothesis above, we know it’s very important to dig into situation and find out the exact pain points and insights for the users before we make any design solutions. So we conducted the user research as summarized below.

  • Insufficient and uncategorized pet center information online make it more time consuming to find the suitable pet care center.
