A Reinterpretation of the Classic Raymonda Ballet Premiers at the London Coliseum

Raymonda is a classic ballet piece reinterpreted by Tamara Rojo, Artistic Director of English National Ballet, loosely based on the heroine nurse Nightingale for a contemporary audience. It consists of three parts and is the first time it has been performed in full in the UK, which is a bit of a treat. The score composed by Glazunov and adapted by Sutherland and Payne is powerful in-depth and provides a superb company to the movements and narrative of the story.
