COP26 Failed to Save Humanity from a Climate Crisis

A three-tier system of options to tackle climate change is needed rather than a one-fits-all type of agreement for the 197 signatories. Three sets of action: what needs to be done, halfway, and almost nothing, needs to be offered to all countries to name and shame those who do not. Albeit ending in a COP that delivers little, countries get into a cloudy game of delegating blame. Consensus has become a proxy to do nothing. A simplified system of where each signatory stand is essential for transparency and its citizens to increase pressure.
