About Us
Hey out there! We are Dama and Fred, two biped mammals, traveling the world via hitchhiking. We abandoned our cozy dwellings in July 2016 to venture out into the vast wide world with no set plans nor time limit. All we know is that we’ll be floating eastward across Eurasia. With this project we decided to try something different — merging real travel experiences with a fictional story. The stories we share here are inspired by our travels and the unique characters we meet along the way.
Therefore this homepage is not about us but about two alien creatures (see About Them) from a planet called O (see About O). O is also the character through whose perspective our stories will be written. It’s a learning process for us so things might change along the way.
Earth Stories represent a logbook in which O writes down Lefty’s and Righty’s adventures while they travel around the globe and encounter new creatures and environments.
Observations are O’s studies of humans society and behavior
Creatuarium consists of drawings of creatures that might or might not exist somewhere in this universe.
Surveillance Records are photographs we feel are worth sharing.

About Them
This is the logbook of two alien creatures named Lnkroft and Rwrevk, but out of convenience you may call them Lefty and Righty. That seems fitting as they somewhat resemble the two eyeballs we earthly mammals carry around in our skulls. They just escaped their repetitive lives as surveillance eyeballs on a planet called O and were forced to go on a rather unconventional adventure. You may ask, ‘What is life like on this other inhabited rock floating through the universe?’, You may find some answers under About O but you should not expect it to reveal all its secrets, yet. Most importantly you should know that they are here to observe and probe, ahem, experience life on this planet called Earth and that they will approach all earthlings with the utmost friendliness. Their behavior might appear weird to you as they know nothing about life on earth and never experienced the freedom to make their own choices. On Planet O their nonconformist behavior became a nuisance and disturbed the smooth functioning of its organic society. So it was decided to send them out to see what life as disconnected individuals does to them. They are definitely not prepared for it, so let’s hope fortuity treats them well as this is all they can hope for.
About O
O is not just a planet but also a conscious entity that entangles the whole planet. The society of O comes closest to what you know about insect civilizations, but doesn’t quite follow their evolutionary patterns. Planet O is under the control of an intelligent consciousness which allows for a much more sophisticated way of cooperation and adaptation. As all aspects of life are under the scrutiny of O. There is no room left for individualism or free decision-making, but every so often a mutation will occur causing its beings to have altered perspectives. We call them WEIRDOs — Will-Equipped Incidentally Reproduced Dabbler Organisms. As there is no place for them in O’s organic society, it decided to banish them to other planets to observe the effects of their mutation whilst using them as probes to learn about life on other planets. While O has lost direct control over them it remains able to collect their sensory inputs, and if necessary, communicate with them. Though, it rather chooses not to do so.
From now on we will stay in character, so enjoy, feel intrigued, disgusted, nauseated, or don’t let us tell you what to do and feel anything you want. But be warned that O is not always the most pleasant and “humane” character.
