💾 Save your work in a UX Repository and make your life easier.
UX Repositories
In the future, you may not find it very useful to keep all your UX research within FigJam. That’s why some teams prefer to use UX repositories. I’ve listed some of my recommendations below.
1️⃣ Dovetail looks like a Notion with tagging capabilities. The interface reminds me of a mixture of Airtable and Notion. If you’re not familiar with Airtable can take you more time to understand the logic behind. The interface is very clean and efficient. I personally don’t like the way survey results are saved.
2️⃣ Condens.io has an automatic transcript feature that seems very useful to me. On my daily job, Otter.ai is what I use to record, so it’s not as important for me to use my UX repository for that purpose.
3️⃣ UserBit is a tool that I’ve been following for years and they keep improving it. Despite the interface not looking modern, it offers a more comprehensive set of UX tools and saves surveys and interviews more effectively.
Similarly, you can always create your own repositories using Notion or Airtable.

The following checklist is a handy tool if you’re not using a UX repository and working solo. It just makes sure you’re not missing anything.
Contributing to such a variety of tasks makes it easy to forget some of your design process along the way.
Advanced Figma Tricks
There is always room for improvement, and some of the tips in this video may prove to save your life. Simple things like copying a frame (command+shift+C) and pasting as PNG, or how to detach all the instances from terrible Design Systems. Or pressing the spacebar to ignore your lovable Auto layout.
🔡 Fonts
If you are addicted to typefaces like me, you will be delighted to discover more options when you use Fontshare. Yes, everything is free. You may remember some from the 👵 old Google Fonts, such as Poppins.
🖼 Uniting people through art
Art has the capability of connecting us in a deep and meaningful manner. Music, books, or movies can change our perspectives and attitudes towards ideas and people. And you’ll become a more empathetic designer. This episode has really captured my attention: How to unite people thought art feat. JR.

We have this awesome portfolio from Maitri Patel this week. My preference has never been to use the word “user”, and I have always used alternatives such as consumer, human, and so forth too.
