We keep on with our series of posts, covering all you need to know about esports 👾. So what about the equipment you’ll need to play esports? Let’s find out!

But before making any investment, you should decide how seriously are you taking esports 🎮. Because in case you just want to know whether you like it or not, you shouldn’t really spend more than $1K for a powerful PC and all the accessories (maybe visiting a local gaming club will dot the i’s). And if you’re already sure that esports is more than just a hobby for you, than, considering the possible payouts, such an investment is worth the try.

Although some esports are console-based, and having a PS4 or an XBOX ONE is pretty much all the gaming equipment 🕹️ you’ll need, the majority of esports require a powerful PC. It should be rigged with a big monitor, a headset and various “peripherals,” including special keyboards, mice and game-specific controllers. The average price for a gaming machine usually varies from $1.5K to $4K. Add to this the cost of the fastest internet connection available, and it’s turning quite expensive. But it can still be considered as a cheap ticket for entering esports, where salaries of pro gamers might start from $500K per month (e.g. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, pro Fortnite player), and pull down to six figures, like Dota 2 player Saahil “Universe” Arora.

For anyone, who doesn’t really know how to pick a PC, we’d recommend starting with a ready-to-play machine, which can be purchased from different retailers, starting from Amazon.com, which works worldwide to Newegg for US citizens. Alternatively, we’d really recommend you to visit the website of Logical Increments — guys are creating one the best game builds for each separate game 🖥️. So if you’re ready to put the parts together, that might be one of the best options there are today.
